Cardiovascular Nursing

Cardiovascular nurses specialize in the care, treatment, and recuperation of cases with heart complaint, a condition that ranks as a leading cause of death in the United States. You’ll work with a range of patients, from individualities recovering from surgery to others who are critically ill. The physical examination of the cardiovascular system involves the interpretation of vital signs, inspection, palpation, and auscultation of heart sounds as the nurse evaluates for sufficient perfusion and cardiac affair. Besides measuring BP and heart rate and rhythm, a thorough cardiovascular assessment includes inspection, palpation, and auscultation.
